A scenario for Tomcat's Powder River Basin Route

Description: Thank you for downloading this scenario for Tomcat's Powder River Basin route, version 2.

This scenario takes place in modern day Wyoming (2018). Burlington Northern Santa Fe train C-BAMJOJ is an Eastbound unit coal train from the Belle Ayr mine, to the Electric Energy power plant in Joppa, IL. Your trip North (RR East) will be a challenge today, as you will be pulling over Whitetail Hill without the luxury of an additional manned helper set pushing your train up the grade.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip this package to a temporary location.

Navigate to your railworks folder, then open the application titled "Utilities"

That will launch a dialog titled "Train Simulator Utilities"

Click on the Package Manager tab, then click on the Refresh button.

Once all the progress bars have finished, click on the Install button.

Navigate to wherever you extracted the download file and find the file titled CBAMJOJ042-Unassisted.rwp

Click on the Open button.

The scenario will appear with the Powder River Basin scenarios under the 'Standard' scenario type. The scenario name is "C-BAMJOJ0 42 - Unassisted"

This scenario works with the base dependencies of the Powder River Basin route, by Tim Zorn (Tomcat). Specifically DTG's Sherman Hill, Stevens Pass, Soldier Summit and 3dTrain's Tehachapi Pass. There are a lot of AI trains in this scenario, so weaker computers may struggle with frame rates. If your computer has less than 3,400 MB of available RAM for Train Simulatorto use, you may need to reduce your graphics settings to prevent the game crashing. All of AI and event timings are based aroundthe player running at, or under the track speed limits.
