Improvements for the Granger Heartland: Kansas City to Topeka route
This mod file fixes, enhances or modifies some aspects of the ill-rated Kansas route, released by DTG in October 2019.
The main enhancements included are:
• Fixed speed limits all along the route mostly to 60 mph and the crossovers at 30mph.
• Installed dozens of forgotten spurs buffers, mostly in industrial places.
• Moved a few signals.
• Installed Krellnut sounds for all route wagons.
• Enhanced horn and bell for the GP40-2.
• Information on how to download the SD70ACe enhancement made and published by a third party.
Requirements:
• Granger Heartland: Kansas City to Topeka route.
• Searchlight Simulations enhancement pack for the SD40-2 - EMD 16-645E.
• Krellnut wagon sounds package installed, located in Railworks America (RWA).
• If you install the SD70ACe enhancement, you will require the 16N-710G3C-II enhancement pack released by Searchlight Simulations.
A .rwp file is included inside for installation purposes.
In case you don´t own the SS enhancement packs, it is still possible to install only the main line modifications, by doing a manual installation of all files under the "content" subfolder.
