This route is based off of a real terminal freight network that once ran in Chicago.

Chicago Goose Island and North Side Switching Beta V2.0

Goose Island is a man made island located along the North Branch of the Chicago River. It was once a major industrial hub on the city's near north side, and at one time, was the center point to a vast network of street level terminal freight lines that operated in the area. Trains ran on the island all the way up until 2017 at a limited capacity. However, today there is little evidence of these tracks ever having existed to the point they once did.

I am releasing Beta V2.0 As-Is. There have been many updates and additions to the scenery. Most track speeds have not been updated (a monumental task) so continue to pretend the speed limit is 10 MPH throughout most of the route.

I don't know if I will ever fully complete this route. I am constantly tinkering with it. I have added a few more requirements to the list. Some of them are major and others are smaller scenery items that are not super important but will add to the full experience. Make sure to see the updated requirement list below.

Most of the scenarios are incomplete. This route was always intended as a bit of a sandbox so I encourage you to play around in Freeroam.
