When you uncompress this file, you will find a huge file name that starts with…


That is the route file and must be installed in the “routes” folder of TS-2017

Go to your C drive and open the following files tree:


C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamaps\common\Railworks\content\routes


Then by using the right-hand button of your mouse, simply move the routes file directly into the “routes” file of RailWorks and by releasing the mouse button, you will have the option of either copying it or directly move it into the routes folder.  I recommend you do a copy, so that you have the original downloaded folder for safe-keeping.

When you now open RailWorks the normal way, you should see the route available for you to use.
