Sherwood Southern Railway-Northern Oregon by Gianni Pulone (PNWR1854)
A short, short, shortline based in the 1980s in northern Oregon.
Sherwood Southern Railway is a fictional branch line of the SP set in northern Oregon. This rendition is set in the last stages of its operation in the mid 1980's. Shortly afterwards, the town of Sherwood was largely developed and the industries along the line that Sherwood Southern served closed and were redeveloped. The line was then ripped up. Also, this is a very short route! Probably less than 5 miles in length. The reason for this is I don't have enough time to make a big route so if I made that commitment, it would probably never be finished.
There are 2 industries along the line, a sawmill, and an aggregate pit.
For this route to work, you need to have the Chicago-Aurora addon, the Donner Pass addon,
and the US loco and asset pack.
INSTALLATION:
1. Paste the file "eadeeff-ecb9-4d6c-babe-c490d7b2841a" into Railworks > Content > Routes.
2. Now open up Railworks and run! Most equipment will look appropriate on it. That said, I wouldn't run something like a GEVO or an ACe on this route... GP9s and SW1500s are my top runners.
