Trestle Pack v.1 This add-on for Railworks contains various models for building open deck trestles, as well as various other above grade crossings. These models were designed specifically for use with un-ballasted track. The best example of this would be the open deck style track found in Marc Nelsons Scale Rail, available at: http://www.3dtrains.com/. That’s not a plug, but for U.S. style track it’s the best looking option out there right now. All models are located under “Bridges, Viaducts and Tunnels” in the world editor except for the scrap heaps. Those are listed under “Clutter”.
Naming convention breakdown:
Here’s an example: NRD_T1_Deck10m_2
[NRD_] Prefix. Keeps all assets together in the asset list. [T1_] Model Type. The trestle models come in 4 variations Types 1-4. [Deck10m] Asset name and length or height of the asset. [_2] Sub Variation of the asset.
Some of the models are not named in this way, bridge pillars in particular, but all the assets start with NRD_. This keeps them grouped together in the asset list.
The Legal stuff: These assets have been made available free to the public under the absolute condition that they will remain free. You may not use these assets in any payware route or offer them for a fee as a standalone download. You may not retexture these assets at your discretion or use the asset textures for your own models without permission from the author
