These are Kalamazoo repaints of the EMD power used in more recent years.
This requires the DTG>N-Line; DTG>Soldier Summit; and the Yellowhead Pass Route for the GP38s (backbones) and GP40s (real life backbones).
The GP35 requires Saluda and the SOU Retro Pack.
The GP40 pack is based upon the RWA/VRC Pack; and only requires that and High Iron's Mountain Sub for the Chessie GP40 skin.
The GP38-2s and GP40s were the main assets, everything else (GP30 from old DTM HH; GP35 (real life); SD40T-3 (real life); and SD40-2W (real life); GP40-2 and GP30RS slugs) were just add-ons).
Despite being an ALCo road for decades, barring the 2 Baldwins (which fell out of use by 1985) with Pfizer's boom in 2020, Kalamazoo Terminal turned to EMD power. Initially an SD45 was leased from VMT (ex-N&W 1776) and an SD24 was acquired from Green Bay along with the WICT F units. The EMD power
proved easier to maintain and able to take the punishing schedules in the winter, but the 6 axles proved cumbersome on curves, so the company looked towards 4-axle "Geeps", turning to NS auctions and various shortlines, as well as the units acquired in 2009 when the ex-NS (NYC/LSM&S) Kalamazoo Branch was acquired.
The ex-Fox River SD24 (restored to original CB&Q condition as 510, is included, skinned from Golden-Age's CB&Q SD7/9 and StevenJam's IRM ex-CB&Q 504, making use of CRJ's 567 upgrade).
In the style of the real Grand Elk Railroad, the company rosters a variety of 4-axle power:

-And in a slight deviation, a GP30 (Grand Elk has a second GP35; once again ex-SOU as that is what the 3 original KTR members knew; skinned from the old DTM GP30): 2561
This requires the old file. Even DTM lacks these master files, I am told. A PM may be sent to my account on the RWA Forum for inquiries regarding the GP30.
";-) GP30_SOU.GeoPcDx.bak" I think many users here will know what to do, remove the ";-)" from the front, and the ".bak" from the end. It is a file after all that is not properly available anywhere.
Per one of the team members request, and growing cars, a slugset was done for Kilgore Yard, based upon the VRC-RWA set; and then a second set in order to pay homage to one of my good friend's father and grandfather working for the GM&O, from which CSX's GP30 Road Slugs were built.
(I also named an ALCo RS-1 at TVRM for George Googe Sr, the man responsible for acquiring both it and the GP30s).
-(2) GP40-2s (ex-CSX, Chessie; skinned from the VRC/RWA units; and the other from the payware HIS Mountain Sub Route): 6487 and 4359
You will need to copy the following .GeoPcDx files for the Chessie System Liveried Unit or run the .bat installer (AFTER unpacking the original .ap files using something like 7-Zip)

-(2) GP30RS (ex-CSX, GM&O; skinned from the VRC/RWA units): 515 and 511
Lastly included is a reskin of the payware Yellowhead Pass SD40-2W into modern day CN paint, to represent 5289, 5291, and occassionally 5286, the
units used by CN (along with former B&LE tunnel motor 910) to work the Kalamazoo Branch and Kilgore Yard.

-(1) SD40T-3 (ex-CN/B≤ modified from the B&LE SD40T-3 Pack by Francisco Nunez at RWA, with permission, from the SoldierSummit SD40T-2): B&LE 910
You will need to copy the following .GeoPcDx files or run the .bat installer (AFTER unpacking the original .ap files using something like 7-Zip)
Copy sd40T-2_cab.GeoPcDx

The original skin is property of Francisco Nunez, only the renumbering and a few minor texture tweaks are my own.
In short, to use all of these engines, you will require
DTG's Norfolk Southern N-Line
DTG's Soldier Summit Route
VRC's RWA GP40 Slug-Set
HIS's Saluda Grade Route & Saluda Grade Southern Retro Pack
HIS's Mountain Sub Route
DTM's old SOU GP30
MPS/JL's Yellowhead Pass
The sounds used in these units, are property of their original owners, and were part of the original 567 and 645 packs by CentralJerseyRailfan and BeastWarsEnjoyer (or Nyx) at TSC.
As ever, the user chooses to use this 3rd party free-ware content at their own risk, and the creator is not liable for any damages. Add-on skins and reskins are covered by the DTG EULA.
