This is a Louisville & Nashville reskin of the RWA Pere Marquette Berkshire (2-8-4).
This model is a Louisville & Nashville reskin of the RWA Pere Marquette Berkshire (2-8-4). You can download the freeware package here:
https://www.railworksamerica.com/index.php/home/donationware/item/226-rwa-lakeside-route
To install, run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file. Copy the CabView, Crew, Lights, Particles, Simulation, and Trucks folders from: Assets\RWA\Lakeside\RailVehicles\Steam\ Berkshire\PereMarquette and paste them into: Assets\RWA\Lakeside\RailVehicles\ Steam\Berkshire\LnN.
The model is saved in Assets\RWA\Lakeside\RailVehicles\Steam\Berkshire\LnN. It is named “LnN 2-8-4 Berkshire.” Sorry for the lack of dynamic numbering. The included numbering was not accurate for L&N practices.
The L&N owned 42 Class M-1 Berkshire locomotives. They were numbered from 1950-1991 and were used mainly in the heavy coal hauling districts. I did these models and a set of L&N USRA Tenders to be used on the Kentucky 1939 route. Between Loyall and Corbin, one M-1 could handle 8300 tons of coal.
This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
