This is a U25C Southern Pacific re-paint, three different numbers of the DTM GE U25 Pack01 with and without driver.
This is a U25C Southern Pacific re-paint, three different numbers of the DTM GE U25 Pack01 with and without driver.
In fact, it's a silly mistake on my part, as the U25c model doesn't exist in the Southern Pacific livery, but rather the U25B version, which I'll repaint later if you're patient.
Of course you will need the GE U25 Pack01 from DTM first.
Installation
------------
1- Open the zip archive, find the Assets folder, drag it to your Railworks folder. Answer "Yes" to the prompt about merging the Assets folders.
2- Drill down to RailWorks\Assets\DTM\GE U25 Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\U25C\CB&Q\Folder.
3- Copy GE_U25C_CBQ.GeoPcDx to your Assets\DTM\GE U25 Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\U25C\SoPa, SoPa2 and SoPa3 Folders.
4- Drill down to RailWorks\Assets\DTM\GE U25 Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\CabView\GE U25C Folder.
5- To allow the repaint showing up in the scenario editor and to see the repaint from inside the cab you have to
copy any geopcdx file, for instance the U25C_Cab_CBQ.GeoPcDx and paste it at the same location. Change the letters CBQ by SoPa
and open the file with TS-Tools. Click on Search and Replace, write cbq in lowercase in the top window and sopa in the lower one. Then click on Replace All.
Save it and that's it. Repeat the same process for the SoPa2 and SoPa3 versions.
To use in a scenario
--------------------
In the scenario editor, enable content from DTM GE U25 Pack01.
Now you should see the GE U25C SoPa, SoPa2 and SoPa3 units with and without driver.
I want to thank Chacal and Buzz456 for their precious help.
Enjoy,
