This is a repaint of the DTM SW1200-DRG switcher.
It is repainted into a semi-fictitious livery of the Moscow, Camden & San Augustine RR of Texas, a route
by Michael Stephan (Great Northerner) available in the RWA library.
MCSA SW1200 DTM
You must have the DTM SW1200-DRG addon (available at Steam
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1012100/Train_Simulator_DRGW_SW1200_Loco_AddOn/?curator_clanid=958135&curator_listid=43424)
for this repaint to work.
This is a repaint of the DTM SW1200-DRG switcher.
It is repainted into a semi-fictitious livery of the Moscow, Camden & San Augustine RR of Texas, a route
by Michael Stephan (Great Northerner) available in the RWA library. The route comes with Britkits Sw1200s in this livery.
The Britkits SW1200 is a good model for its time however the DTM model has more features including a choice of exhaust stacks.
The DTM model uses 3 digit numbering and the actual uses MCSA 2 digit. This would leave numbers offset on the cabside so I have
"doctored" the numbers such that engine #30 is X0X, engine #33 is X3X, engine #39 is X9X etc in the display flyout on the right
but shows on the engine as 30, 33 and 39 in these examples. I have done this by "squeezing" in 2 digits in the space of 1 so that
the displayed number on the cabside and number board is central
There are 10 dynamic numbers displaying on the engine as 30 to 39 inc.
Swop the original Britkit locos for these repaints using TS Tools or similar.
To install:
Unzip the 7z file to your desktop. Click on the file and unzip the .rwp file within.
Click on the Railworks folder and drop the "Assets" folder into your Railworks folder on your hard drive
or drill down to the DTM\SW1200-DRG\RailVehicles folder and drop the repaint file (Diesel_MCnSA) into that folder.
Then open the DTM\SW1200-DRG\RailVehicles\Diesel\Engine folder and copy and paste the SW1200_DRGW.GEOPCDX file into the Diesel-MCnSA\Engine folder.
Then open the DTM\SW1200-DRG\RailVehicles\Diesel\CabView folder and copy and paste the SW1200_Cab into the Diesel-MCnSA\CabView folder.
It will appear in the Assets list as EMD SW1200 MCnSA and EMD SW1200 MCnSA NC with dynamic numbering.
This repaint is freeware and you may use it as you will at your own risk except make money from it.
