This is a UP repaint of DTG's Amtrak EMD E8 DLC.
The Union Pacific Railroad used the E8's extensivly during the golden years of rail passenger service. To use these re-paints you will need the excellent DTG model of the Amtrak E8. https://store.steampowered.com/app/678002/Train_Simulator_Amtrak_E8_Loco_AddOn/
Just run the installer or drill down and place these in the proper place.
Then you will need to unpack the original so that you can copy the E8-A Amtrak Phase 1.GeoPcDx and the E8-B Amtrak Phase 1.GeoPcDx from the Engine folder and paste it into AmtrakE8Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\EMD-E8-Amtrak\EngineUP E8A.
You need to tick both the AmtrakE8Pack01 in the DTG asset list and also the Buzz456 folder for the numbers to show up on the side of the locos. If you run these in a QD you will need to start the scenario click the world editor and the scenario editor and click the Buzz456 asset to get the numbers to show up on the sides. Just save and go on and run your QD.
Included here are five A units and five B units. The A units are numbered manually to get the numbers to show up under the cab windows. The B units use auto numbering so if you want to change or add them just change the .dcsv file.
