St. Lawrence and Atlantic GP40

Unread postby jtousign » Thu Aug 29, 2019 6:35 pm

Hi, I downloaded the new repaint St. Lawrence and Atlantic GP40 from de file library. All is working fine but the levers into the cab are not working, I have to use the hub. For instance I click on the wipers and they don't work but the water is wiped out over the windows visually. However I don't have that problem with the required default GP40 from G-Trax for those repaints. I'm a fan of the St-Lawrence & Atlantic among other liveries and would like to fix this issue. Any help will be appreciate. !!howdy!!

Wherever you are trying to run it do you have the default one checked also? I didn't look at the bin but these often need the default active for the dependencies. If that doesn't work I'll take a look at the bin for you.

Hi Buzz, there is just one box to check for the repaint as well as the default: ''G-Trax, Trains''. As I said, the default is working fine and only the repaint model has that problem. !**conf**!

Is Railsimulator/US ticked in the asset selection menu? It's listed as a base requirement for the GP40. Perhaps the repaint did something screwy with the file structure.

The bin file is messed up. The cab controls are referencing the SD40 but Samuel changed all those. I suggest you contact him about fixing the bins.

Crap. Let me look and see if I can upload a fix. This was my first time repainting the GP40, so I didn't realize (or think about) the fact that a lot in the .bin was referencing the SD40. I really apologize for the inconvenience.

Oups! Another problem into the cabs of the GP40s St. Lawrence & Atlantic repaints, what we see through the windows is the black color from de required GP 40 from G-Trax instead of the St.L&A colors. *!!wink!!*

Actually, I might have to edit the CabView.GeoPcDx for the Kuju Default SD40 to read the textures for the GP40 repaint...
