The primary goal of this site is to offer a positive environment for the development of North American content for RailWorks (although content from outside of North America is quite welcomed also), as well as make available some help in the enjoyment of the sim in the Forums, and offer a content-rich site with a plethora of ideas, tips, and downloads.

About RailWorks
On June 12, 2009 Railsimulator.com (RS.com) released RailWorks via the Steam web site. Then on July 2, 2009 they released the DVD Boxed version.
Interest in the new version was such that the DVD Boxed version sold out the first day.
RailWorks is a re-release of Rail Simulator, now owned by RS.com. It is a compilation of the original Rail Simulator, the Mark 1 & 2 patches, and the developer tools, with some additional content added.
In honor of the re-release, the RailSimAmerica site was converted to RailWorks America on June 24, 2009.
