It takes a long time to load rw site for low band users, I had 6mbps before now I have charter 30mbps. Don't have any problem loading. I never though verizon would cause issues with their ip customers.

Bob, you host RWA and several other sites yourself, do you?

Do the server logs tell anything about performance breakdowns during certain times?

Overhere I never experience issues with rwa.com, but that could be due to the time difference as much as to the generally good network structure in the Netherlands, a small and densely populated country. No ISP offers dial-in services anymore, anybody is on broadband.

Slows downs here are 11 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm. That's lunch time and after school/work times.

Interesting article.
It isn't just that.
I was reading a few weeks ago, about an internet battle between some anti-malware company here in the U.S. and some malware spreading concern over in Europe. The malware company runs outfits like Zedo etc. I'm sure some of you are familiar with Zedo...
That internet battle on some days can also use up to 30% bandwidth! **!!bang!!**

He's full of shiat.
Games use a small fraction of the bandwidth used for downloads of music and movies. Think Netflix and torrents.
