Hey everybody, i am currently in the works of making my first public scenario for Railworks!

The scenario puts you in the controls of a BNSF SD75I with a SD70MAC and C44-9W behind the lead unit pulling a fully loaded coal train of roughly 75 cars from Barstow to San Bernardino. You start just outside of Barstow (Len to be specific), and your first stop is victorville siding 6 where you will add a SD70MAC to the rear of you train so you can make the grade and have enough braking power to stop this huge beast! Along the way you will meet other trains like a short mixed train lead by a pair of SD40's, a stacker train with a pair of SD70ACe's and a Dash-9 on the rear, an empty coal train lead by some Dash-9's and many more like it! On the other side of the pass there are some MOW crews doing some mantinance so there are some 20mph speed zones. Plus since its a nice summer day there are alot of railfans out and about, dont forget to give them all a hornshow! Plus there is a forgien freight heading up the pass, he is a little out of place but likes it! I have most of the trains around the 75 car mark just so it works "ok" on mid to lower end pc's while TSX is ON. (i cant stand not using it anymore!)

I want ETA for this scenario to be within 2 weeks, but that sbhh error is giving my old pc grief once in a while when i try and go a while without saving. Trying to get the AI trains to go at the correct time on the other side of the route is quite a challange, but when its done right it will be well worth it! I choose to stick with trains that have ~75 cars just so its playable on lower end PC's such as mine.....any scenario thats out there that uses more than that is useless to me because anything under 5fps is unbarable.

I am running out of different consists for the AI on the far side of the route, any suggestions? so far i have plenty of intermodal trains, a mixed train, tank car train, grain train, coal trains, and a chemical train (covered hoppers)...plus an amtrak train in there somewhere. I dont know what else runs over cajon pass in unit trains, or even whats in the mixed trains so any help will be greatly appreciated!

I'm not hugely familiar with Cajon Pass, but a few more intermodals can't hurt. There are a LOT of them in that area, for good reason (proximity to a major west coast port).

Well i will need to delay the release date to late next week or the weekend. I was going to have it done this weekend but some things came up that kinda takes up that time......speaking of that, if anybody is in jasper alberta this weekend let me know, me and a friend are going railfanning for a few days and sone extra company would be great! lol stuff came up and i completely forgot about it. its still sitting on my old computer, one of these days i will let it run steam and update so i can try and finish it for you guys.
