Steam

Hello,

As i run Railworks3 offline because i do not want the update to 2013, how can i purchase an item from Steam for RW without going online because if i do it will automatically start the 2013 update,

Is there a way to block the update?

I have partitioned my hard drive and called it D, as the default drive is C if i moved RW over to D Drive would that do the job.

Thanks,

Roger.

Two copies of Railworks perhaps? I don't know of any other way to do it. 2013 actually runs much better IMHO.

Most of the new stuff will not work in TS2012/RW3 as they require enhancements made to TS2013 that are not available in TS2012/RW3. And as Buzz456 said, RS2013 runs better than RS2012 on the same hardware.

um, what are you talking about, Railsimulator and RW are the same game, heres how the timeline goes: Railsimulator is released by kuju back in like 07, the current owner bought the rights from them and made the game into railworks, then a year later they did an upgrade and called it rw2, then again the next year it was called rw3, and finally this year they made rw4, also known is train simulator 2013....its the same game but they just changed the name to spice things up.

Hi,

Yup my mistake saying Railsimulator, of course it was 2012 and then RSC upgraded it to 2013, after all the hype about it i upgraded but like i said i did'nt go a lot on the changes so have gone back to 2012,

We are all different and i only use a couple of routes and my system runs them fine in 2012.

In fact just to clear things up as you are over the pond, the company are known as Railsimulator.com [RSC].

Cheers,

Roger.
