What is usually happening when you hit "Exit" when you get the error is that the game is removing the offending consist that caused the error from the game. So, somewhere down the road, you are missing something.

I have a small uodate to the AND route that was tabled while I finished this loco. It has updates for the scenarios to try to get them all working properly. The update has been tested once with no operational issues. I'll release it this weekend.

Funny thing - if you Edit instead of Exit from the error screen, then press the run icon, the scenario will work. It's weird, but true:

Try it (YMMV)

Was it really, so, why are we getting another one released with the Sherman Hill layout, as per the description on the RSC website, I already have a Union Pacific SD40-2, I don't want another one, I thought this was a TS2012 all bells and whistles upgrade??

You should remove it. You have no idea what other features they are testing, or how bad it will leave your system if it breaks.

I did not get the update yet. So I removed the command. Still no update, so I decided while waiting to try a D9 scenario, Dash to Lenwood, it loaded just fine. How can they be working now? They must have some down under control going on in the background... anyway mine still work. Yesterday I took the command out and it updated as soon as I started steam, but those were the bad files. Put the command back in and it updated them again and they ran. So I still have the test files.

Wow, Norfolk Southern AND Route is without a doubt one of the best freeware routes I've played on, probably second to NERW !!*ok*!!

Because RSC's current policy is to put everything you need for the scenarios they supply with the route in the route's dev folder. It will probably be the same one you have which is already equipped with "TS2012 bells & whistles".

Yes, I agree with you Kali, that has happened in the past, however, reading the advertising blurb on RSC's site regarding Sherman Hill, they announced the Sherman Hill Expansion Pack will feature a fleet of Union Pacific diesel locomotives including the SD70M, ES44C and SW10, which I haven't seen before and considered them to be all brand new locomotives and presumed the SD40-2 was also a newer model.
Maybe RSC's policy is to upgrade old locomotives and package them up with routes, and as complete separate items, that way us old duffers won't remember what we have and haven't got already and they'll try and extract more money from us with our bad memories...... !*roll-laugh*!

I definitely second that observation! The Dash9 on NS-AND is fantastic when driven with TSX ON. (Although I still get ejected through the windscreen when backing up to couple the consist in Dalton Delivery...) !*roll-laugh*!

I hoped it might be corrected with the new loco, but I can still deal with it. Small scenario glitch in an otherwise terrific route.
Glad it's all back! !*YAAA*!

If you have't done it already, go to the "Routes Overview" forum and cast your vote for this excellent piece of work.

Best,
Marc
