Dash9 updated!

Unread postby _o_OOOO_oo-Kanawha » Tue Jul 24, 2012 3:04 pm

Steam just downloaded the updated Dash9 and with the DLC I bought in the sale, TS2012 takes forever to load now.

BNSF, with the combined throttle/brake handle, still lots of "n/a"'s in the cab displays. No indication of any air brake values apart from the blue sliders.
NS, witht the control stand and displays on top, likewise. No idle postion on the throtlle, no proper setup on the dynamic brake handle.

Didn't seem to have '"updated" anything in the cab or the physics or the operation. I am disappointed, for what will the "updated" ES44 bring?

Also, the pack is checksummed now. Does that mean no more tinkering and/or repainting?

Just looked and I got a 145.4 mb update at 7:45 am.

I wonder if I have the new dash9 too?

If you mean the MD5 files, that's copy protection. At present that doesn't stop you altering anything ( other than the geo file presumably ) but it will stop any child shape files loading.

My Dash 9's are also gone. Doing like Pam, verifying files, then do a blueprint clear. This is nuts. !*hp*!

Ugh its just like the last patch probably. Give it time.

I dont know if the updates work, but all the dash 9 liveries are broken.. once again it seems that railworks takes us one step closer to reality.. You WILL use UP or BNSF and be happy about it.. disgusting..

Before we jump to conclusions, maybe just maybe its not RSCs fault and maybe Steam messed up. Just saying !!bang!!

Steam Downloaded a Dash9 update to my system today at 3:59 PM PDT (2259GMT).

All of my Dash9s checkout OK in RW Tools and I just ran a freeroam scenario out of Victorville with no problems.....

In Steam, right click on TS2012 and select "properties". On one of the pages in the dialogue box that shows up is an option to keep it up to date or not.
