Its simmering. My current project has gone into over time, but its going to be worth it.

Or as MadMike plainly put it the other night... we are certifiable.

Ok guys... I think I will stick a fork in it.

What I did was fix up my 10ft section (was horribly disfigured when I brought it over from SU), re-textured it so it can use higher resolution textures, and added it as middle geometry to a loft. I will not be adding the rubber padding (I've sat on this long enough).

What do you think?

left we have fairly new, middle with some rust, right is that textured concrete from the photo earlier in this thread.

I have a least two (four if I weather them) more up my sleeve if I can master the elusive loft, but I think I am close.

And now for a true loft (not just impressive middlewear)... though it still needs some tweaking this one goes out to SCLALINE.

Send it on over :)

I am also planning to do the one you made where its only two planks on the inside of each rail.

All the crossings near me have been replaced with rubber. Wish I could get a pic, but the line close to me is in the middle of two very busy streets. I don't wanna get run over. !**duh*!!

Do you think that you could also do a 4 track loft that crosses the entire track, one from around 1935, I could really use that on my route.
