Your still missing a GEVO heritage loco. What about the Interstate?

Norfolk Southern uses the strangest looking GEVOs ever, horizontal lights above the windsheid? Too bad no one has made one of those for railworks (no, I won't even try to make one.) If only we had that, then some of this would fit in much better with the horseshue curve.

Got to love those skinning blues!
The Interstate didn't get done because I had no interest in doing that one and nobody begged for it. *!lol!* So it more or less just got skipped.

Mabye you could open the texture in your image editor then save it as a picture, edit it then try opening it in dxtbmp and saving (<-- is that what you are having the problem with? if you just save the texture as a picture you can atleast still edit that.)

dern, those two look sweet. NS should slap their logo on the New York Central livery and use it for all their locos. :D

Ohh right, then if you make one it's way too reflective... But you could also load up the alpha then save it as a regular image so you could have the alpha and the regular texture, then you could just replace an alpha you generate later with the one you saved. *!!wink!!*

NYC lightning stripes scheme looks good on the angular form or that SD70.

Strange though how they painted over the louvers just like that. Wonder how long the paint will last.

mdurdan,
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Don't know what to tell ya. Try an uninstall re-install of the latest DXTBmp. Also might be in your vid card settings? Also check your resolution.
I thought I'd save you some hassle and start on this one. Little white pin stripes and the name and it's done. *!!wink!!*

mdurdan wrote:If you wanna send it over I'd be happy to finish it but I can't promise anything very soon because of computer problems and so on. I will definitely be interested if your not gonna finish it, its a sharp looking re paint so far !!*ok*!!

Is their another program I can use other than DTXBmp? !*don-know!* I don't much like it

I'll tinker with it a bit more. I can probably have it done by tomorrow. The hard part's done. Getting the stripes lined up and all. I only spent two hours on it. Lot easier to paint than those GE's were. If you want to finish it, then I'll send it over.
I like DXTBmp. I have no trouble with it. Sounds to me like your PC might need a tune up. Do a Windows repair or something. Make sure you have the required files for it to run proper. Check his site for what you might need to update the files.
