Again, a most welcome addition to our rosters. Good to see so many repaints coming along.

Actually, that's the exact shade of yellow that's on it right now.

Hmm.. 200, 177, 73 may work, I took that off a YN2 GP38-2 pic I have.

Giving a unit that number is just inviting disaster!!

Looks like the colors are really dark, but it looks great!

I was waiting for someone to say something about that. !*roll-laugh*!

I've also just talked to Machinist. Once I get the paint job done he's going to give the locomotive a few enhancements before release. !!*ok*!!

I think it looks fine, it's an older weathered SD40-2. And I'll take crazy 8's any day! !!*ok*!!

Alright folks, last call for changes or corrections. If nothing is pointed out within a couple of hours, I'm considering the paint job done:

Missing numbers on display, and please use those of SD40-2 Black if possible (I guess you are already using the Black as model, huh?). *!!wink!!*
And maybe the roof a bit darker (or more weathered), similar to the body?

The numbers aren't there yet because I have to make them. That's the final step. Anyway, here's my first attempt at adding weathering to a repaint:
