Hi Ian,
Thanks for these great looking locomotives that are loaded with a lot of little surprises. I've not tried out the BNSF ex-Santa Fe GP60M yet, but on the NS GP60's so far I've found when you are in the cab, both cab doors open and both side windows open. Another feature I've found is when you sound the horn the ditch lights flash. The numberboard lights can also be controlled and I haven't tried the wipers yet in the rain.

I know there are a couple of minor issues that are being worked on, but all in all these are some great looking units.

Rich S.

HEY GUYS SORRY IVE BEEN AWAY THIS WEEKEND! I see some people have had some minor issues. some people are getting missing textures on lights, which is weird but I will send i temporary fix to my blog immediately. Also I have a fix for the bell which is simple, i will get that out soon. The throttle on the gp60 is going the wrong way !*hp*! , simple fix.

I apologize to those who had issues with the lights, I have a fix link in my blog yo ucan download it there.

Also Rich, there are more surprises. you can control the doors and windows from outside the cab too. read the readme and you'll get a list of all keyboard controls for both locos.

Thats good buzz, but I'm a perfectionist and the minor issues will be resolved without you even knowing about them then. :)

Hi Ian,
Yes, I found the doors can be controlled from the outside view using the keyboard short cut keys and can be controlled from the inside using the mouse !!*ok*!! Very nicely done *!!thnx!!* Next on my list is your C40-8, that unit looks fantastic. Any chance you can add a U30C or C30-7 to your to-do list?

Inspiration shots.

I have the textures for it and as soon as I finish up the minor issues i'll be putting that scheme in patch UP. The bell has been fixed and now I have to fix the throttle lever animation. then change a couple of textures around.

The gp60 set is light years better than the dash8. in about 2 or 3 weeks there will be a final update for the dash 8 that fixes the stuttering issue, and add in all the fun bells and whistles like the geep set has.

Re: GP 60 PACK UPDATE V1.2E

Unread postby eyein12 » Tue Mar 27, 2012 12:01 pm

I will be posting the update to the GP60 pack tonight: Update is free to those who bought the pack of course, same password.

eyein12.blogspot.com

The Update includes:
-Throttle lever pulls from RIGHT to LEFT in gp60 cab now(as per prototype)
-Bell works with units now when you Key B.
-Changes to the pressure gauges to accurately reflect brake pressure conditions.
-Fixed EQ pressure needle, and brake cylinder needles to have a white color instead of green.
-Fixed AFM gauge to be accurate to prototype, and is now responsive.

Fixes to the GP60M input remappers:
-Lastly will be fixing the issue when you hit spacebar it resets the levers, while the horn sounds. This is only an issue on the GP60M, not the gp60. Its an input mapper issue and should be fixable quickly. This may take a day if I cant get it today.
-Fix the A/D key not moving the HUD throttle.

That will be it for the set aside from a repaint that i'm working on this week!
Any repaints will be avilable in the library

UPDATE HAS BEEN POSTED on my blog.

THIS UPDATE INCLUDED MOST OF WHAT I WANTED TO GET IN THERE.

there's 1 thing that still need to be done.

the A/D buttons still doesnt move the HUD throttle for gp60M but does move the unit, and the interior cabview moves the throttle and unit just fine.
