ATSF Switching Scenario at Victorville

Hi,

A new scenario for Cajon Pass is available: ATSF "Cement Shoes", a two-part one-hour switching run on Cajon Pass, set in the 1970s. You will be in charge of two ATSF GP7s, your job will be to assemble a 45-car train of outbound cars from various spurs and sidings in the Victorville / Oro Grande area. Medium difficulty I suppose.

Two versions of the otherwise identical scenarios are available, one will let you run David Brindley's GP7, one will put in in the cab of the RS.com GP9.

This scenario has been written using many free- and payware rolling stock packages, so please use RW_Tools to replace any pieces of equipment that you don't have or don't like.

You can download it here: http://golden-age-rails.com/scenario.ht ... te120224-1

And some teaser screenshots:

Thanks Michael!

Are all of those scenarios on that page updated? I know some are, but can't remember if you took the ones needing updating down until they are.

Can this scenario still be completed if I swap some of the cars using RW-Tools?

Hi,

The car swapping should work (though I have only tried it with the engines, which did work). The only potential issue I can think of for this scenario is that the replacement car should not be longer than the original one, there is one work order where the train has to be quite literally squeezed onto a siding.

The scenarios on my website are all new or updated ones. All old and not yet updated scenarios have been pulled from my website and the file libraries too. I should add that I may not be able to update several of them, especially the old Cajon Pass scenarios cause endless crashes when I try to add in all the new equipment.

Cheers,
Michael
