I'm going to go through my entire library and will update all the E7s. You will need to download the new Basic and purchase the Xtra packs (edit: or re-download them if you've already purchased them.) to get all the new features.

Hmm!!! I can see a problem with the basic model. Another update the the freeware pack I am afraid. Your work looks good though. Put one of the passenger pilots on as it is now and it will look fine. Still needs an update though. !!**sorry**!!

Here are two of the three paint schemes the 6000-6004 E7s had. The Golden State livery is next.

Looking good, perhaps attempt to repaint the cab as well.

Will we be able to run the Daylight E7 with just the freeware version of the E7.

And updating the freeware E7 again? Seems to me like it's fine now since Dick got the windows to open by hand and all the controls to be movable by hand, seems like it's just about perfect now.

Sorry JP but I will take any mods Mr Cowen would like to add. Remember that the more versitile he makes the model the more MadMike can work his magic *!!wink!!*

Perhaps for the newer version, he should place the camera in the drivers seat. After all, that's how we would really like to see from the cab. Not from standing behind the drivers seat.

Having seen several E and F series cabs in real life, I think Mr. Cowen has it just right.

You'll be able to run the Daylight E7 A unit from the freeware, but will need to get the extra pack for the B unit.

You are aware you can move the camera forward with the arrow keys?

I think it's a zoom actually. Almost but not quite the same thing - it compresses the distance instead of just moving forward.
I also would like to have the cam in the driver's seat, at correct height.

It would be great if we could move the camera around a little bit, like a real driver would move his head to better see the track ahead.
For example, in the GP7 the conductor's seat is closer to the window and the view forward is perfect. In the engineer's seat the view forward is very restricted, I would be very scared to drive thousands of tons at high speed almost blind.

The 'Rocket' is done, the UP Version is done, all three of the SP 6000-6004 series are done, and the Golden State RI version is done. Packaging and documentation to go.

I made sure that the color is a good match for the Gtrax UP passenger set (the baggage and RPO are in the pic). Now to document and send on to QA.

They look great, but very clean!
Is it just me or do they seem to be made of bright plastic?
Maybe it is just an effect of the lighting in the screenshots.

How about a PRR E7? It would look nice on the Horseshoe Curve.

I think it would go great with the new K4.

Would these repaints work with the freeware version of the E7?

Can't wait to see what other kinds of locomotives Dick might build in the future.
