Oddly enough, I'm not seeing those peculiar "bent" tracks at all! Could the difference be the result of graphics settings?

I assume they're also going to fix the s-curves and instant superelevation changes, all of which are very un-prototypical. Compare the ride on Donner to HSC, and you'll see its truly a night and day difference. There really is no comparison.
Janine wrote:Actually yeah, I edited my above post and I didn't encunter any clipping errors at all so far, I've been driving to Balloon Loop in the first activity. :)

Switch motors always on the "outside" of double track?
Small issues maybe, but since I have changed the weather on all of the scenarios to some snowy condition or another just to get rid of that awfully bland landscape these things now tend to stand out.
I am sort of starting to warm up to this route after I was disappointed with it just like all of us. Having reduced cab swing/track unenveness and superelevation to just 1 degree the ride is much smoother.
Didn't know beforehand high mountain railroading is actually quite boring. Endless stretches of climb in notch 8 doing just 25 MpH makes me hate the GP/SD cab's close confinements and limited view. So I usually have my head out of the window so I can look around a little. Lots of trees! Hopefully those jumping trees get fixed soon.

One thing no one has mentioned is the signal bridges, haven,t seen a one. Just signals hanging in space. I know it's near Christmas but it is disturbing to see red and green lights in the trees when I know they are supposed to be on a post or a bridge. Has anyone else seen this or did I recieve a corrupt file? (to quote Robert Plant, "Where's that confounded bridge?")

RSC, PLEASE stop using those gosh-awful looking railroad crossing signals that were ported over from Railsimulator! We don't have signals in the U.S. with yellow lights ( at least not the ones i've seen recently )! I would have figured that if you were going to take the time to model H2 signals, you could have taken time to make a few realistic looking crossing signals.
Tell you what. They are not 100% prototypically acurate, but I will donate my crossing signals, source files and all, for use on this and all future RSC routes, no questions asked. Just allow me to continue maintaining and distributing them myself as well, and they are all yours.
Sorry for the rant. Its just a pet peeve.
