If the floor of you building is a simple box ( more or less , as you do have have slots for the rail and the pits ) and the walls and roof are another box , ( though more complex geometry is used for doors and windows ) and this is simply inserted into the floor , again your mesh is not really not closed or watertight and would allow light bleed.
