I'll be working hard to upgrade my King's Arm Highway route (the first RailWorks route I fully developed and released as freeware which you can still get for free over at my RRYard.com site).
The upgraded version will be called "King's Arm Highway Deluxe".

I will be working with the original base route and make many new additions and improvements to it such as;
improving the track and signalling network & infrastructure, expanding on the track network in some areas, add in structures / areas for loading and unloading coal-hoppers, a functional coal-transfer point for refueling Steam-Locomotive Tenders, a container / shipping yard area with working cranes for loading and unloading container-cars, improved lighting effects added in some areas, adding to and improving the scenery in some areas, many new exciting, challenging and immersive scenarios (with a good variety of Passenger runs, Freight Runs, Shunting / Switching activities).

Thanks for your interest and support! :D

What exactly is that anyways? Is it some kind of bridge, what I can't figure out is why the floor is made of gravel? Strange if it is a bridge.

It's an overpass bridge. Though the floor of it might kinda look like gravel, it's supposed to be cement or asphalt I believe.
It's one of the default assets that come with RailWorks. In fact, with this route I'm using default-only assets to build it. :D

Be silent, you nay-saying Rivet-Counter! *!lol!*

Yeah, well, as you know I use a mixed variety of assets on this fictional-based route. The roads and track-signals are I guess what you'd call "UK style", but I do have a mix of North American, and even some German, things on parts of the route (and scenarios) too.

Anyways, if you enjoyed my original King's Arm Highway route, I think you'll love this Deluxe version.

The new additions and improvements to this route are mainly done.
I've been mainly focusing now on making more new scenarios.

Some exciting news about this project...
It's now in the Beta-Testing stage.

I also got some more scenarios completed.

For more detailed info, and a few new screen-shots, see my blog post here:
http://railroadyard.blogspot.com/2011/1 ... 12011.html

If all goes well with the Beta-Testing, and no major problems are found, then I think this project will be ready for release real soon, perhaps sometime within the next couple of weeks.

A big thanks to my Beta-Testers for your help.

Cheers! :)

He he he he, RSC would be jealous, Don. This thing runs like a Swiss watch with only a few issues (I'm only into the 4th scenario) I'll post some screen shots later, but the route is beautiful.

Yeah, I can see this ready in a few weeks at the latest. And with 14 scenarios, everyone's gonna have plenty to do!

Oh, did I mention radio chatter? !!*ok*!!

Hi again. Just posting another quick update about this project.
See my blog-post for more info and some more screen-shots:

So far my Beta-Testers have been reporting back with positive feedback and no major problems found. All seems to be working as intended, so if all continues to go well, after a bit more polishing, this route should be ready for release real soon! :)
