Pirate site

Unread postby KCJones » Mon Oct 17, 2011 9:31 am

It has been brought to my attention that there is a site offering my pay ware models for free. I am going to suspend the updating of all my files for TS2012 until the site owner has removed my pay ware shape files from his site. I count this as a massive misuse of trust as the site owner may well be one of my customers. I have all my record back to the first purchase on 09/03/2009 in Excel which has a simple data sorting system!!!!!

Sorry to hear this, KC. I presume you have told this vermin to stop distributing your payware for free? !*not-ok*!

I have asked him politly as it may well be an over zealous TS user who likes my early stuff and wants to improve it. The trouble is there is a right way and there is a wrong way to go about these things!!!!! Mind it is not just my stuff involved and others may well have a different view.

I've been working on this since last night and have contacted others whose files are also hosted there, including Paul Jackson as there appears to be some of their stuff on that site as well. *!!wink!!*

Needless to say I don't think it's a good idea to give out the link to the site. We don't want to feed his possible piracy. !*salute*!

Edit 1: I think I'll lock this thread for the time being, until we get some more info.
