HELP! SOUND WONT WORK ON VEHICLES

Hey guys I was wondering if there was a sound expert around to help. I tried ot add a .wav file to a vehicle and it wont work for some reason. i did everythign exactly as I should, so I should hear it. I guess my next question is how does the game know where to put the sound. I know theres little blue sound icons over engines and the animated digger. do i need a sound icon too? cuz thats the only thing i didnt do. I created a sound blueprint, and generic audio control and tagged the GAC to the vehicle prop blueprint. the default US cars have this set up as well i ntheir vehicle prop blueprint so idont get it.

I'll try to give you a start. The sounds are controlled by the proxyxml in the audio folder. Railworks uses dav. files for audio but if you point the xml to a wav. file it will use that too,or you can d/load a free dav. converter from UKTS. Hope that makes some sense to you.

phill i have that basic knowledge down its more ocmplicated than that and had 2 people work on this with me and we're allstumped. I followed a default vehicles generic audio control, vehicle prop blueprint, and sound bp, yet it still wont work. i gave up on it a week ago.
