Replacing Track Textures

I'm thinking about a wild project. I want to replace the textures from the Scalerail SP branchline tracks with the textures from the DTG Soldier Summit yard tracks. Can this even be done and heck, where do I start?

To start with get TSTools if you don't already have it and read the tutorial. It's really pretty straightforward. If you need any more help just holler.
