HHP-8 Repaint

Hello. I would like to make a repaint suggestion for the Amtrak HHP-8.This is from MSTS. Thank You.

Love that scheme. I’m probably wrong but isn’t the mapping on this model a bit wonky?

Its one of the first MicroSoft Train Simulator repaints from 2001. 512 texture.

Was waiting for a phone call and coffee to brew this morning and your request intrigued me enough to 'dabble'...

Well, so much for that...sigh.
I thought I was on a roll with this 'quickie' project but then (as previously mentioned above) the textures seem to have a problem.
It all was looking so good until...

Body is apparently fully-mirrored...sigh.
I'm sure there are more talented and wiser painters out there who might take this on but I've not got the understanding or skill to go further.
