Incidentally for those of you that have the DTM F3 series there is a pretty nice steel cupola caboose there.

The route has been popular on the Steam Workshop. It has the 30 LIKES needed to make the route final. However, I am not sure when I should hit that Make Final button. I wish we could create and post scenarios for the route while the route is being worked on. There is more scenery that could be added and who knows how many hidden bugs that should get fixed.

  • OPTION 1: Keep the route as WIP. Quick drive is available and any scenarios can be kept until the route gets finalized or they could get posted to RWA as well.
  • OPTION 2: Finalize the route as-is as version 1. Scenarios can be created and posted on Steam. Any future enhancements to the route would be on a new version 2 route.

Originally I was leaning towards OPTION 2 but lately I have been leaning towards OPTION 1. Thoughts? **!!2cents!!**

Option 2
You’ll get others doing scenarios and more feedback but even more important it takes pressure off you. Issuing an update later allows you the time to develop the next stage in your time.

Thank you John for your thoughts. Since no one else chimed in, I assume others feel the same way.

I pushed update v1.6 yesterday afternoon. Please let me know if there are any unresolved bugs or issues with the route that should get fixed prior to making this thing final. If nothing is reported by July 28 at 20:00 UTC (3:00 PM CT) then I will consider the route completed.

---
FYI -
this is not the intended end of the Fox Valley Corridor development. After creating some scenarios for the current TSC route, I plan to start the next development phase. Phase 2 will at least include an extension north to Neenah and possibly as far north as Menasha and as far south as Fond du Lac. Phase 2 will also include enhancements to the Phase 1 portion of the route.

Unfortunately I have no idea when Phase 2 will be complete. The past few weeks have been very busy for me and the next few months don't appear to be much better. But at least we will have the current North Fond du Lac to Oshkosh route to play until more is ready.

Thank you everyone for your help and support.

Now Mike has released his SOO/WC GP30 Pack I have sent to Chacal a CNW pack (of 6) but these are individually numbers. CNW placed the number on most (not all thankfully) of their engines on the long hood side.

These look great John! Thank you!
Do you plan to release a weathered / patched version of these repaints for FRV and WC? This would only include numbers 814, 815, and 820. I will probably do it if you don't. :D

FYI - Jesse James made one for WC 814.

I hadn't thought of it, if you want to have a go carry on as I have things on the go at the moment.
Thanks for your comments, I have changed the cab interior numbers - it was done on the.nm file but not the infamous .nmc!!

Sounds good! I will hopefully get the patched FRV and WC repaints done sometime this week.
