Well thats good they got it right as far as geographical position as i said the city is east of the station.

It will be hard to upload a city fix without legal issues from RC, uploading the buildings to railworksamerica.com is easy but is it ok to upload a couple of asset tiles so they would appear for people in their routes at home? I dont think this is a breech if its only 2 tiles being uploaded, im sure you cant play the route with 2 tiles alone lol.

hmmm...I will upload my fix if it doesnt matter. i understand they are "ballin on a bugdet" thats why we have people like us to improve upon!

I think that last one might be New Brunswick, but yeah, its hard to tell just from one screenshot.

Really looking forward to this route, just 8 days to go! I hope they didn't leave freight out though, though Amtrak (and SEPTA and NJ Transit) are the major portion of traffic on the NEC, there is quite a bit of freight too, Conrail, I think.

I wonder how easy (possible) it is to extend a route. It would be great to have the NEC from Boston-DC, and I would like to add the NJ Transit Atlantic City Line, but that means adding the PATCO line from Lindenwold to Westmont, at the minimum. But if I add the PATCO line, you could have trains going across the Ben Franklin with the USS New Jersey, Campbell's Field, and Rutgers-Camden right next to it.

That includes the Acela's. Everything else is run with AEM-7s and Viewliners (also the HHP-8, but since we don't have it).

I hope I'm not being too erm, pedantic? here, but the Viewliners are (for now) only sleepers on the long distance trains. The Northeast Regionals and Keystones are all Amfleets with the Keystones having ex-Metroliner cab cars (which look very similar to the Amfleets).

Boy, I've spent all day today making final tweaks to the NEC signalling to make it as fully featured as possible (The UK has 4aspect signalling, but Amtrak has 13 aspect signals! ) I've literally bled for this route! I hope everyone likes it. We really want to show with this release that RSC wants the US interested in RailWorks2 and soon TrainSim2012.

I'm sure most will like it very much. Even our fan collegues in the UK show a great interest into this route. I'm sure that the new US-UK-50-50 policy, together with RW3, will attract a lot more players.

The tide turned a bit ago now I think on getting U.S. folks convinced RSC is moving forward in U.S. improvements, which in turn just really benefits everyone. The internet hate machine against RSC is nearly, for the most part silent now. RSC themselves have helped. Sounds improved, models improved, physics have improved, and continue to improve with each release since the Dash 9. Also, our talented and ever lovable route builders, asset builders, tweakers, and model makers have helped also.. So much of the "BUT IT CAN"T DO THIS!!! IT SUCKS!" has been stomped out with "Yes it can and look, here is 20 examples to counter your claims for good measure.".
