And here were go again. This is the Wednesday Route Report and Update Status, for this Friday, August 20th, 2021.

This is my favorite part! And now for the update status report.

[ ] Missed me by that much
[ ] Would you believe?
[ X ] The old finished the route while no one was watching trick.

Haven't had a mid 1960's television characters doing the status report yet, so lets give it up for Mr. Don Adams!

And for this week, lets chill out with Lou Reed doing Sweet Jane live in 1973

Linky: https://youtu.be/A5HfwS6Ey_4

I still have yet to start my memoirs of route building. There is so much to talk about, I don't know where to start. All I can say now is that I am keenly aware of how much time I put into this project. Not just the actual labor, but the thinking about it, planning and day dreaming. I do have to say the route came out they way I envisioned.

As for as future work is concerned, this is a well deserved break, and I feel no urgency to start new projects. But I do feel the need to expand my Bergen Line Pack over on Michaels Stephan's site. Seeing all of you use the gear confirms what I thought back then, the route needed a one-stop shop for your retro EL transit needs. And given the pace of scenarios - it looks like I will need to step in a fill the gap.

Outside of our little world there is so much going on. Leisure is becoming a guilty pleasure for many I presume. All the train sim sites I check out see some much quieter than they were, say, 2 years ago. It could just be me thinking that.

Lastly, yes you guys DO take better images! And Kris, I would like 8X10s of picture #4. There is something about the end of a train...And Americansteam pounding the consignees out in Garfield and Carlstadt - like a boss!

And a special shout out to the old man, whose birthday is this Sunday. Who is so old that he spot checked the almighty's work on the 7th day. Happy Birthday pop and keep switching 'em out!

Carry on.

It's waffle and pancake day. For some reason I loaded the wrong ones in game without thinking. It was supposed to be solvents. Good eye.
