Unread postby 7FDL1688 » Mon Feb 15, 2021 9:42 pm

This is texture upgrade for the Amtrak Phase V AEM-7 locomotive and its Amfleet cars from the “Northeast Corridor: New York - Philadelphia Route Add-On” you can buy here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/65232/Train_Simulator_Northeast_Corridor_New_York__Philadelphia_Route_AddOn/

You can download this upgrade here:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&id=3696:aem-7-and-amfleet-car-texture-update&catid=18:engine-repaints

You can watch it in action here:

I corrected the locomotive colors according to Amtrak’s Phase V Livery:
    - Amtrak Blue on the roof and around the windshields (Untouched)
    - Platinum Mist body (The default was too “yellowish”)
    - Amtrak Red sill stripe (The default was too dark)
    - Anthracite Gray underbody (The default was way too dark)

I corrected the Amfleet cars according to Amtrak’s Phase VI (IVb) Livery:
    - Stainless Steel Body (The default was too “yellowish”)
    - Amtrak Red and White pin stripes (The red stripes were a bit too light)
    - Amtrak Blue stripe (The default was too light)
    - Amtrak Red sill stripe (The default was too dark)
    - Black underbody (Untouched)
I added the “Northeast Regional” logo to the Café car

Installation:
    1. Using File Explorer, go the folder located here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\NorthEastCorridor
    2. Drop the RailVehicles folder from this pack into the folder you just opened.
    3. Run Train Simulator to verify that the textures work.

Enjoy!!!

Wow! I'm thoroughly impressed. !!*ok*!! even though this is an almost a 10 year old model, you make it feel as if it was part of the New Washington - Baltimore route. Those Amfleets look spot on as well.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. Unfortunately, the AC units have a different set of electronics on the roof and, so far, I haven't seen anybody upload/sell the AC model.

However, you can get the AC performance mod from the file library.
