It should be ready to download and install in your settings/update on your computer. Maybe different in some areas.

Remember, version and build are two different things, and my settings say I have 2004 version since 12/11/2019and my build is 19041.264 . So obviously something is wrong with the information, ever hear of Insider?

Yes, I was on it once but sick of things not working properly all the time with various updates and opted out of it. Really you haven't had the full public release which was released on the 27th of May basically your version was just a beta version until the full release.

I never got any message like that. I just happened to look in my Windows Updates and there it was as my computer was running slow and usually when it does Windows is downloading or installing an update. It took four or five hours to download and install as Windows had to download and install other updates first before Windows 2004 could be downloaded and installed.

Microsoft blocking latest update on lots of devices. https://www.theverge.com/2020/6/1/21276 ... ssues-list

One thing that I have noticed is that text seems a lot clearer particularly on the Steam forums using their interface or perhaps my old eyes have got better. :D
