The subdivisions around the Hi-Line are:
  • Kootenai Sub: Whitefish, MT - Spokane, WA
  • Milk River Subdivision: Havre - Glasgow, MT
  • Sweet Grass Sub: Shelby - Sweet Grass, MT (directly at the Canadian border, interchange with CP)
  • Great Falls Subdivision: Shelby - Great Falls, MT (unsignaled mainline)
  • along the Great Falls Sub are three short branchlines: Valier, Choteau, and Fairfield Subs
  • south of Havre and north of Great Falls, we find the Big Sandy (Pac Jct - Big Sandy) and Fort Benton Subs (Great Falls - Fort Benton), which back in the GN days used to be a single through mainline connecting Havre to Great Falls
  • south of Great Falls is the Laurel Subdivision, Great Falls - Laurel, MT, which connects to the MRL and other lines BNSF further south (and that's also where the coal trains are coming from)
  • at Great Falls is also the start of the Helena Sub (Great Falls - Helena, MT), again with connection to the MRL, but if my research is correct then this line is now out of service and only used for car storage

Did somebody mention videos? :D

Here's our first own video from the Hi-Line. A "clip show" from Havre, MT:

Well done Michael and Rick for this route and look forward to the release of this new route when it's available through Steam.

It's not going to be in the workshop. It will be a full route DLC offering.

!!howdy!! Not looking for an exact date, but I'm still curious about an estimated release (days, weeks, months, etc). We're currently in the middle of a Steam sale and I'm still sitting on my paltry wallet in case this route suddenly becomes available. I imagine there may be a lengthy DTG approval and posting period, but one never knows. Thanks.

Last time I spoke with Rick he was guesstimating around Christmas.

We have concluded the development of the route a little while ago and it is currently in beta testing. I can't tell you how long exactly testing might take (depends on how many bugs are still in the route and assets *!embar*! ) but the release is getting close.

Cheers!

Hi,

A second preview video of the upcoming Montana Hi-Line route is now available.

This time it's all about the high plains and lots of grain:

Enjoy!

Thank you for the second video of the new route that will be release soon. Good work on this route. I do really like the dwarf signals on this route and way much better than the other routes that have dwarf signals. Finally!
