I tried to at least get the Hudson's, but the Assets link pulls the *.rwp (https://digitalrailroadingco.powweb.com ... _06_04.rwp) and my browser pukes on it....

This link works perfectly with Chrome and IE, so you must be using Edge which then would require you to do a "Save as Target" to download the file.

ozinoz wrote:I managed to download the Hudsons, but even on a 50mps connection, it took nearly 15 mins, so the other end must be using a drinking straw connection to the net. I have had a look at the copyright notice, and they are free to distribute without charge, so I will contact Buzz and see about posting here, just in case they become increasingly difficult to access.

I don't think this would be a good idea as I was given an updated file recently, which reads:

All of the contents of this software is copyrighted material. You may use and include the content of this package in route uploads as long as this is done free of charge. The content of this package may not be distributed wholely or separately for archival purposes or personal distribution by anyone without the permission of the author(DSGDDR) Darlan Gomes. This means no uploading to other websites or media of the "J3a Hudsons_2019_06_13_xxxxxxx" file or any named derivative used at digitalrailroading.net as a stored archival entity, and this package can't be used in any "for Profit" website, media, and other electronic storage conveyance.
You can do repaints of the included objects and you are allowed to distribute the repaints as long as it is free of charge.
This software is provided to you on an “as is” basis without any express or implied warranty of any kind.

Also, I downloaded this myself using Chrome and it took right around 2 minutes to download, so I think there is no drinking straw at the other end.

As far as a freeware model goes, the hudsons almost have more of a payware type quality to them. One thing I must comment on though is I don't think the independent brake actually does anything. Everything is animated, it just doesn't slow the engine. I wonder if this can be addressed in the future.

Thank you for this. The sounds are good. I have not had any issues with the train brakes. Love to have an observation car and a parlor( smoking) car if these were run.

I am looking for some NYC stock to complement this. There was a bay window caboose in downloads but it took a Harry Adkins base model. I can't find a site to download it. Any other sources for NYC stock? I have buzz's heavy weight passenger stock.

I don't know if it is just me, but I'm not getting any sounds when in the cab and the engine itself doesn't seem to have any chuffing sounds. Other than that, the models are fantastic and very fun to drive.

The chuff sound is connected to the Black 5 so you must have Kuju>RailSimulator checked in the objects box.

As far as sound in the cab, I have the same issue and let John know. I still haven't been able to figure out a solution yet.

John me deixou ciente dos problemas com o freio independente, ele funcionava bem, devo ter feito algo errado nos scripts assim que tiver um tempo vou corrigir isso.

Google:
John made me aware of the problems with the independent brake, it worked fine, I must have done something wrong in the scripts as soon as I have a time I will fix this.
