If I recall, the thing that caused it for me was a bad scenario from the workshop. If you know the latest scenario you subscribed too, go to the workshop and unsubscribe. If you were like me and subscribed to a lot all at once and have no idea which one it could be, unsubscribe from all the workshop scenarios and add them back one by one until you find the problem child

^ This goes a long way. Workshop scenarios have caused me a lot of grief over the years.

They should carry a “health” warning. I tend to only download well established “names”, unfair to new writers (and I’m one, though not on workshop) but safer. Yes, I do let others be the guinea pigs and I’m shameless in that.

I'm thinking it has more to do with the files I don't have in common with Buzz, minus the extra route files.

It's weird that SDBCache.bin isn't there. It should be created by the game if it doesn't already exist.

Did you have this installed on 1 drive, delete it then install it on a different drive. File system pic looks wankie....
Windows registry may be dorked up as well..... Steam doesn’t do a good job of cleaning things up....

The picture is my file. That's why I told him to ignore certain things. As Chacal says the game should create that missing file. That's why it doesn't load it looks like. Whatever command tells it to create those files seems to be where the hangup is occurring.

You puzzled about the routes stored there or my routes.exp?

It's possible you have more than one Railworks (TS2019) installation, and this one is incomplete.
We'll have to check where Steam is looking for your files.
Please follow these short and simple instructions to find your Railworks folder.
See if it is the same as the one you checked before.

In the log you sent me, it says your game is on the C drive:
c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\SDBCache.bin

Did you move your game from C to D drive, perhaps to clear some space on the C drive?

No, my C-drive didn't have enough space to begin with to house TS and the amount of stuff I have for it (new "gaming" laptop), so I installed it there.
