Now coming from DTG, the Hudson Line for Train Simulator 2019. The CSX Genset (https://steamdb.info/app/277762/subs/) and Metro-North P32AC-DM (https://steamdb.info/app/258655/subs/) will be standalone items included with the Hudson separate from the original loco DLC releases.

They aren't standalone if they come with the route. DTG packages those locomotives in with the route assets.

dern.. beat me to it, by 4 minutes lol.. had to delete mine, since there's no point in having 2 posts about the same thing.

BUT.....

Finally, one of my two topmost requested routes/dlc.

I have not posted in the forums in such a long time. But, this brings me much joy.

I am rather slightly disappointed about the endpoint, as it is only half of the MNCR route, though I'm not surprised by it, as I have called it, almost a year ago, when discussing this route on a proposal. Having been quite observant of the business practices as of the last few years, giving a portion of the routes in an effort to maximize profit, Which I'm not personally knocking, except that the distance from NYC to Poughkeepsie, is a little over 70miles. We got well into the 70 mile range with the NYNH, although, missing two major branches. So, I don't get why only half of 70+-mile length of a commuter line. Which would have been pretty sufficient, and gave the Diesel locos more of a purpose. Though, Albany would still be welcomed in a future extension. Hopefully, the next time an extension is done, we'll be taking this all the way to the States capitol.

I seriously hope, they provide older M-series cars for this route, as well as NYNH, as a heritage pack, as they all look strikingly similar in style, albeit with some notable differences. Not to mention, they're truly iconic to these lines.

I don't like that practice of DTG. I just wish the existing Steam DLCs of the Genset and MN P32ACDM can be packaged into the Steam Sub of the Hudson, so people that own the older Genset and MN P32 will get the NYNH scenarios for them and use existing third party repaints and scenarios of them.

I think we all called it, thinking that DTG would get to just Croton Harmon. This makes sense from them.
I ride this route all the time, and drive down Route 9 every day from Peekskill past Croton every day to work. I plan on busting their chops as much as possible with what they potentially will miss, but the pictures look pretty darn good. I will actually buy this one.

I wish all the routes were long, but Croton is a legit stop point. Can you imaging having to do all the bridges and scenery on BOTH sides of the river to Poughkeepsie? **!!bang!!**

This route could be expanded by our capable hands in the Workshop. And they probably will too.

It's finally nice to see my hometown line come to TS. Once this route is released, my plan along with a few of my buddies is to extend this line all the way to Albany! So stay tuned still in the plan making on paper! *&!welcome!&*

This route actually looks pretty decent. It comes with a lot of rolling stock which is always a big plus. One nice little feature I did notice was the presence of trash on the tracks. We don't see that very often on a DTG route.

The sad thing is that some of the rolling stock is recycled crap like the Metro-North P32 and Shoreliners as well as the Genset. I'd rather see DTG bring some more new stuff to the table, such as an CSX SD40E3 and SD60M, an old scheme P32AC-DM, and Shoreliner I/IIs.

They're working with what they got. They don't have enough artists to make new stuff for two different games.

He repeats "I will buy this for the route" The rest of it for better or worse is what it is.

I must say Dovetail is finally giving the New Yorkers a reason to be happy for a very long time. This is impressive.

Granted it's not Buffalo... !*roll-laugh*!

But, this is without a doubt, incredible.

Just out of curiosity, how much did you folks pay for this addon? Steam wants a measly $56.95 from me for this route, which I think is about the highest I've seen in ages for stand alone DLC for a 11 year old game.
