When I get home from vacation tomorrow ! You bet I will ! Actually the 2nd part of this vacation is a bit of rail archaeology, The Dundee from the old Panasote plant to Market St. in Passaic, the NYSW's Passaic Branch from behind the old Presto Lock to River Rd in Garfield & on the Passaic side too. And ever a bit of the Bergen by the Saddle River. Seeing if the old trestle bent is still there from the old Hammersley siding. That is right for those who don't know, there use to be 2 trestles there (Before 1972). The other going into the old Hammersley mill there (Now Primex Plastic & the Quik-Chek strip mall.

But really looking forward to running the route of my childhood again ! :)

Posting this is thread to see if anyone else is having the same problem I am...

Ever since the most recent update, I literally can't get the route to load. I have deleted all route files and downloaded them back 3 times now and still have the same problem.

What happens is I will pick a small QD consist to run (so I don't overload anything). Then I will select the Bergen Line and select a QD to run (tried a different one each time). Select the weather and time of day, then start the QD. It will get to the loading screen and just freeze. And I mean everything, the mouse wont move, nothing! I let it go for over 10min yesterday and nothing happened. All three times I had to do a hard reboot of my laptop.

Obviously I have no clue what's going on. I have a feeling it's just me though. **!!bang!!**

It's a local problem with you. I just checked here and it loads just fine.

NS - Test with a prebuild consist like the ALP-45 DB (diesel) + 7 Comet IV Cab Car leading from the Graham-Line Hoboken QD and Test.
With any deletion - you know the drill ....

This is the path to the route folder for the New York Division - Bergen Line:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\19b667f7-2759-49e0-93d8-4dadc470bceb
Delete everything except any custom scenarios you may have.

The route is 30mb larger than the last release due to addition STRM terrain that was loaded.

I just checked with some other players - the Bergen is A-Ok on their systems.

After deleting, reloading and running the ALP-45DP with 2 arrow cars and cab car it ran just fine. I will try with a custom consist after I eat dinner. *!!thnx!!*

Its happened to me before - on my own route. You likely have an issue with a repaint on a consist - as I did.

Well I did try a different consist each time. But now that I got it to work, I will try with a custom consist again. Maybe it was just a "third time's a charm" situation as far as the download went.

Buzz, my apologies. I didn't update the QD from croxton. Please locate the quick drive called Graham line to croxton and then you will see Campbell Hall which is the star of the show for this week!

One more thing, I have been waiting since Friday to see all of your screenshots of Campbell Hall. And to those of you who are departing from Campbell Hall to Hoboken or Croxton, please take a few moments and look out from the fireman's cab view or the engineer's cab side view of the landscape as it rolls by, I'm sure you'll be very pleased with it.

MM, I've determined that my laptop simply just can not handle anything more than a commuter train on the Bergen Line anymore with all of the rolling stock that has been placed in the QDs. My next test will be to make my own free roam that has nothing else placed but a custom consist and try again to see if the route will load and can handle it.

But here is one screenshot I got while testing everything out.

imphantum - there sure is a lot to like in the 3 pictures above! The scene staging is the best. Having the tower operator hand the orders up to the engineer is perfect. I wonder if TSW will someday be able to do that? And your 1968 shots - how did you get those cars there?

They are all inspiring - particularly the Suffern one - where there would be 4 tracks from that point all the way down to Ridgewood Junction. The 4 track was very cool to blast through down the middle on some freight run to Croxton. I hope to someday bring that to all of you!

Your post also reminds me to remember to signal up all my yards so your scenarios will work much better with AI!
