BNSF cant even stay true to operational agreements they've signed with their labor unions, why would they care if virtual models are able to be sold internationally?

An Erie SD45-2 would sound nice with a bundle of Conrail and Penn Central! Like the Pennsy GP35 pack! !!*ok*!!

DTM have said on their FB page that they might make an unbranded version of this loco, which they well let us know next week.
Intel i5-10600K CPU, Asus TUF GAMING Z490-Plus (Wi-Fi) MB, Graphics Asus RTX 3060 TI 8GB OC TUF gaming card Windows 11 Home 64 bit, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 ram, Viewsonic VX2728 LED 1080P FHD Monitor, Samsung 1TB SSD + other conventional drives, Corsair 750W PSU.

Why don't DTM sell the SD45-2 through Trains And Drivers. They have another BNSF loco on their site, or would they be tied into DTG not being able to sell it through another outlet.

Quote from DTMs FB page.

"Unfortunately DTG will not allow a new pack changing wagons and marketplace products will still attached to bnsf licence. The only option we have is add the loco as "bonus" whithin other pack. This pack wasn't owned by any of the railroads that we have in our pipeline at the moment. So we will have to create a new pack to include the sd45-2 as bonus."

Looks like DTM are trying hard to get this loco to users outside of the USA. Shame on DTG though.

It has nothing to do with DTG. Its BNSF.

Ahh the drama of it all. At the risk of being repetitive "Life will find a way."

Finally decided to buy this one. Absolutely love it!

But, all goodness aside, I needed to report a bug with the SD45-2. Whenever you open the engineer's side windows, this happens.

And closing them doesn't fix this either.

Nice engines! Shame about the restrictions, since they would look great on Tehachapi and I cannot buy them ....

Now only the SD45-2T "Tunnel Motor" is needed and the series is complete.

Maybe if you read above DTM are trying to get this model made available to those of us who live outside the USA. Keep up to date on DTMs FB page.

I have just queried DTM on the availability of a European version of this model. They have answered as follows :- "Yes. We will create a new pack. Sd35 that will include the sd45-2 as bonus. But in seaboard coast line livery. Which will be marketed via DTG on Steam."
Maybe the re-skinners will find a way of applying the missing branding, but no matter its the model we want after all.

The re-painters can do this in about one day as soon as they put this out just like the DD35 test models.
