I assume you live in the Chicagoland area, I highly recommend it if you get out that way towards South Elgin.
Again, route looks amazing!

Actually, I'm an active volunteer at the Illinois Railway Museum, which is up the road a little ways from FRTM. I spend my time in the Electric Car department and operations, where I can mess with the 1:1 scale North Shore cars. My involvement that has actually allowed me to get certain details on the railroad and the cars that I might not have otherwise been able to get.

Well in that case I might have to give you a shout next time I'm up there, my kid loves that place. In fact, I traverse the area now and then when I take auto trains up from West Chicago on the Belvidere Sub, right next door. Always nice to see all the fine work you guys do up there to keep everything running. Again, amazing work on your route as well.

I downloaded and installed this CNS&M car originally made by Matt Austin for MSTS and it did run but the graphics were messed up somehow. The carbody looked transparent. I thought that it was made for an earlier version of Railworks, not Train Simulator 2016. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there any remedy.

Hi Zach, Im new here but I Saw you are a volunteer at the Illinois Railway Museum well I'm actually working on making the Illinois Railway Museum into a route on "Trainz: A New Era, and I thought you might be interested in checking this out, I have a Facebook page for it here https://www.facebook.com/IRM.ForTrainz/

Here is a screenshot of the route showing what I've done to the museum complex so far (To see more screenshots go to my Facebook page for it.

Plus since I cant PM you yet, I was wondering if you can help me out if you have access to any drawings of any of the Electric Equipment that is present at IRM, so far this is what I got modeled so far.

Hope you like what you see, I know this is not railworks but I found this thread by accident when I was trying to find North Shore Line Interurban drawings and stubbled across this thread. Plus I plan on volunteering in the IRM steam department next month so I hope to see you there sometime.

Message sent Matt.

It's been a while since I've posted anything in here, yet progress continues slowly. Below are a few scenes that have grown up since I've last posted:

Thornbury Village is approximately halfway on the Mudelein Branch. 4 miles left to Mundelein, 89+ miles left from Chicago to Milwaukee. Huzzah! !**duh*!!

Why did you bump a thread just to promote something for a completely different sim?

Actually not particularly Buzz, this past summer/fall has unfortunately left little time for these things. Someday I hope to have at least a portion of this stupid thing ready for public consumption.

The L structure fits its intended habitat pretty well too.
