Last I saw, this morning, was a Facebook post saying 50% off until the 5th before it was taken down, no further support.

I planned to buy the two remaining items I didn't have Friday .... **!!bang!!**

Facebook has the scoop in the comments ...

The link still seems to work for me, however ... as long as there is no objection

If for any reason Jerry or the admins wish the image taken down I understand.

There is no reason for it to be taken down. It is real information something we always encourage.

!*hp*! OMG, thank god I got this repaint. That means I save it by backing it up on my flash drive. It's really valuable to me and it's important for my workshop route

Their home page ( http://vrailcreations.net/ ) notes that the site is being redesigned: nothing about their store shutting down. So why panic over their facebook page being down?

VRC is changing. The FB page has been decommissioned. The main site will be the place where any announcements will be made.

How does this square with what Jerry posted?

He has some ideas about holiday sales. Just keep your eyes on the main page from time to time.

I wasn't going to respond to this, let it just be what it be, but in light of new information that I received this morning, I'm going to set the record straight.

Since TSW came out, sales of stand-alone DLC has tanked. I mean crickets chirping tanked. I tried repackaging, repurposing and what have you, but nothing was moving.

A couple of days ago, a customer named Justin Hyland started making trouble after I would not hold his hand while he tried to repaint the GP40-2 kit. After keeping the GP40-2 and repaint kit for two months, he filed a grievance with Pay Pal, calling the products "defective" and "not as advertised". We exchanged a few measssges, in which he threatened to pirate all of VRC's stuff and other snorts and farts, and I told him to f***-off. Apparently the guy has trolled other sites, as I learned this morning that i'm about the third 3rd Party provider that he has pulled this crap with.

Anyway, I decided after this to simply go ahead and pull the products from the VRC site. We have a great bunch of people following and supporting us. But there are a few buffoons out there who couldn't find the business end of a potato gun who expect us to hold their hands while they play, and i'm pretty dern sick of it.. We will continue to sell through Steam, and products going forward will be made to DTG's standards so they can be sold there as well. The C39-8 is still on it's way and will be submitted for review as soon as it is ready.

So in summary, VRC still exists, still has a website, is still making DLC, just will not have sales from it's own website.
