I do truck lettering for a co. that removes rails for scrap.
They are thinking of hireing these guys as subcontractors.

I once cought a guy cutting up new aluminum signal tower's after i beat the snot out of him I called the RR police and got a handshake for it. Stay vigilant Railfans!

They must have had some serious equipment! When I worked for the RR, one of the crews gave me a piece of 100 lb rail about a foot long to use as an anvil (I do a lot of tinkering)....I can barely move the thing!
