Many thanks, NSTrains!! Nice shots with the CN unit. CN provided the inspiration for the ACRR look.

Zek, it may not be as simple as that. You may never find all the errant poly's in this one. The black parts should be OK, but the red will likely show black portions from the original NS that you may never find. If you must use this model, why not paint only the end of the long hood, not the whole dynamic brake housing, like the Dash 9 and JM1261s SD70. Maybe try the Kuju model instead. You may be in for a rough time with this one. Many of the RSC models are not at all repaint friendly.

Yeah that was a little screw up on the paint. I've fixed that, I just need to post an update tomorrow.

Keep up the good work! With all these ACRR repaints I haven't hardly touched any of the other routes I have. *!greengrin!*

I like the original ACRR PC Inspired Logo but to me that seems like a patch honestly.

SO i did this in paint net:

ACRRLogoBody.jpg

ACRRLogoCab.jpg

The top one is a logo variant that is supposed to be used on the Carbody, with the black matching the black of the carbody while the bottom logo is supposed to be used on the Cab flanks.

Every Road needs a Proper Logo. Anyone can use these for any future ACRR repaints if they want, assuming Tagsdm is alright with it !**duh*!!

Well, I have no special claim on the Adriana County route. Anyone is free to repaint as they choose. At least one other user here has uploaded ACRR stock with his own color/design scheme, completely different than mine. I'd ask only that no one upload this or any other design/logo on any of the repaints I've done, please. It looks simple perhaps, but those repaints are designed around specific parameters. But you're certainly free to do your own, or share privately.

It may seem like a patch, but quite a bit of thought went into the AC logo. It had to be a contemporary looking graphic element, not just letters typed into a circle or square, and be of specific proportions and occupy a specific amount of space. I tried in vain to make a CN-ish "wet noodle" but the letters AC didn't lend themselves to it. Nor did the "copulating worms" PC device work. Then I tried a CP pacman-ish logo, but that didn't work either. The idea of stacking the AC came from McGinnis era New Haven, as you see on the current NH route. The font used to spell out "Adriana County" on locomotive hoods is actually called "Cityof", and is a UP font available for free, which matches many of the numbers used on the diesel stock. That way I don't have to repaint all the numbers as well. Proper logo design is an art form of sorts and is therefore subjective, some people like it, others don't.

So go ahead and give it a try. The GP15 is one of the easier engines to repaint, why not start with that one.

Something is wrong with your Adriana County SD70M-2:

This only happens once I start the scenario, then it stays like that anytime I restart the scenario or restart the editor. When I place them in the editor for the first time, they appear fine. I followed the readme precisely and installed it several times with the same results.

Trainman21, usually that means the GeoPcDx file isn't in the correct folder, or maybe SD60MPack01 isn't checked in the editor. Please post how you're doing with it. Say, how did you get it? It hasn't shown in the library yet that I can tell.

Thanks for helping out, JM1261.

I don't know if this will solve your problem but I too had some issues of this not showing up. By trail and error I fixed the problem by replacing the ENTIRE Diver folder not just the Geos. My problem went away.
