I check my "Shared with me" on Google Drive, and waddya know, it's a whole bunch of Lackawanna repaints (and one NS repaint) from somebody named Adam Gormann. (?)
Do we know a guy named that? I'm putting it here, because this is technically a Lackawanna route (I Think). It's slightly worrying me.

I think you've found yourself one of the minermen.

That all makes sense now.
You are right: where else would I expect Lackawanna locomotives?

There's quite a bit of switching on the Bergen County/Main/Southern Tier.

H70: Road freight to Campbell Hall (former H07). Works Hillburn Yard and Campbell Hall before turning back east to Croxton.
H55: Suffern based local. Works Bay State in Clifton Mon/Wed/Fri and then works Black Prince, Frost King, Athenia Mason Supply, and XL Plastics Nexus Tues/Thurs.
H56: I believe daily night local. Works all of the active industries on the Bergen County Line (Nabisco, Zarega, Gemini, American Brick, etc) and occasionally industries on the Main Line.
H80: Night local to the Harrison wye
H81: Pascack Valley Line Mon-Wed-Fri. Main Line Tues-Thurs. PVL switches Diamond Chemical, Foamex, Reddy Raw, Beta Plastics, Atlantic Plywood, Quivican, and Kuiken Brothers (occassionally). Omega Plastics/Kingsland Wye on the Main Line.

Awesome info! And that all uses Shared Asset pooled power or is it mostly just NS GPs?

The yard jobs are assigned 5600 series GP38-2s. The only thing that uses road power is the H70. Last night it actually had the Central of Georgia heritage unit leading. I also forgot to mention that once a year the James E. Strates Carnival Train runs from Croxton to Middletown, NY over the Southern Tier. The Ringling Bros train would also run over NJT via the Meadowlands Line but that hasn't happened since 2015 as the Izod Center has closed.

Sully,
Thanks for stepping in. There will be a ton of questions regarding freight ops for NS. I will need to note them in my guide!

Did I hear Dundee ? A little Dundee action circa 1975 with a Panasote, Okanite, US Rubber return of empties then heading back to Croxton. Just a little FYI for those of you who love the branch. You know the pedestrian bridge that goes over Dundee Yard? There is a name for it in real life. It is called the "Florence Stolarz Bridge". The Stolarz Family was & still is predominate in the 1st Ward of Passaic. Owning a lot of property & businesses on Wall, 8th, South & 3rd Streets & Passaic Ave. The area was a highly dominate of people of Polish heritage & still is today. Other favorite sister of the Dundee area is Loretta Swit of M*A*S*H fame who grew up on 8th Street. I loved the area because from November 1982 to Sept 1984 I lived on the corner of 8th & Wall, just 75' from the Wall Street Grade Crossing. At the time, still a lot of traffic on the Dundee.

DUNDEE!

Hot Manifest frieght SFE-100 roars through the flats East of Harriman, NY in January of 1970. On this run from Chicago to Croxton, I am sure we have a few carloads for the Dundee Spur.

Here is what I have been working on all weekend: Metro North's Harriman, NY Station and giant parking lot.

There are simply so many trees that you cannot see the station well from the air!

Was just about to post about this as well! Looks like they went through the Terminal itself.

I was in the car on the way into work - My father texted me that there was a 'failure to stop" at Hoboken Terminal. Appears to be a Pascack Valley Train that ran down Track 4/5. Very Serious injuries reported and now fatalities. http://www.nydailynews.com/

My prayers go out the passengers and families
