Matt streamed it on Twitch this afternoon. It looks great. !!*ok*!!

They were puzzled by the Hancock Air Whistle though. !*roll-laugh*!
I must confess that I had to look up that whistle.

The manual lists 16 scenarios, but there are only 14 included with the route. The 44 tonner scenario "Around Meriden" and the S-2 scenario "Winsor Locks Local Freight" are missing!

I suggest you report this to DTG instead of here. !!*ok*!!

I reported it here because One of the routes authors tends to hang out here!

And now I'm afraid I spoke too soon. Both missing scenarios just showed up as standard scenarios in the Steam Workshop.

Thanks for the heads-up! The two scenarios are not missing from the release package. We had to remove them very late in the process because we simply could not get them to work as Career scenarios even after repeated rounds of testing the release candidate. So somewhere between my desk and the upload button at Steam the most recent version of the manual must have got lost.

The two scenarios in question are by the way now available at the Steam Workshop (as standard scenarios).

So will us old buyers that bought the old version of the route be getting the new one, or will we need to just buy it over again.

Please pay attention to what is going on. You will receive notice on how to get your update at a reduced price by e-mail. It has been well posted.

Thanks Buzz!

Yes, indeed, there will be an update for those who already own version 1 or 2 of the route. That update will be distributed through Trains and Drivers as before.

Please be patient, it will take us a short while to get the update up and running again after an unexpected number of new bugs were found before the release. That unfortunately also means that we have to rebuild the update package.

Ah, I was wondering about that but figured I'd wait for the email. I don't currently have internet access at home but I can download from TaD at a free wifi spot.

So? The RS-11 was always sold as a stand alone item. At least it was for me.

DTG sells an RS-11 in PRR livery, designed by Virtual-Railroads; VirtualRailroads sells an RS-11in Lehigh Valley livery, also by Virtual-Railroads; numerous repaints for each are available in the RWA library.

As to a repaint or model specific to this route, it seems to me that one exists, but I'm not sure.

The new version is uses the same route ID and assets folder. No matter whether you want to get the Steam version for one reason or another or get the update directly from us, the old version (v1 or 2) should be uninstalled first or there will likely be issues.

This leads me to a technical question: I would like to keep version 2 alongside version 3. Will that be possible?

Maybe if you clone it before upgrading?

Definitely. Just make a clone with another name and away you go. Then I would take Michael's suggestion and delete the original version 2 before installing the version 3.
