Oh dear what have I started! *!rolleyes!* I remember hearing these types of GE Switchers was used on all sorts of gauges and was just regauged to be used on a that type of gauge. I found some drawings of a 44 toner! I'll have a look for some cab photos but I reckon it'll be practically the same as the RS GE switcher. I'd rather see a East Broad Top Mikado then any diesels but I doubt we will see any of them although you can buy loco drawings from the Friends of The East Broad Top website! Anyway... I'm rambling on *!lol!*

Its been said countless times but Dick isn't a rivet counter! And does this as a hobby.. No need to be so critical of other peoples work.

I can see this getting silly. I thank you for the plans you pm'd to me though they weren't solicited. As I have said elsewhere I make models I like the look of so yes they moved me to make a model that I might not have done. It is not finished, but when it is so I might share it with others. My position statement at the head of this forum still stands true. I am a Brit and one of the characteristics of the Brits is that they can be bloody minded. If we feel we are being pushed around we tend to dig our heels in and say NO.

To me this is a creative hobby and many of you are gracious enough to also enjoy my work. If you feel it is not good enough, there are alternatives. The best being get a 3D modelling programme and invest the time and effort into creating more of the superior models that are out there. !!jabber!! !!jabber!! !!jabber!!

Rant over.

Thanks for the GE plans by the way. I have already done a bit of research and downloaded a few pictures.

The inimitable Casey, sorry, Richard, said:

AMEN to that! !*brav*!

And naturally we accept that, to our meek and mild American cousins, such unreasoning intransigence must seem strange indeed... !*roll-laugh*!

Please make allowances...

Kind regards,

John M

PS I suppose there's no chance of getting our Boston tea back? *!embar*! *!!wink!!*

The authorities stop a consignment of contraband Darjeeling getting up to Kitty Malone's saloon. Those miners are going to be pretty mad tonight!!!
