It is going to be uinteresting to see how the loco roster for this route turns out.

The publicity blurb details the B4D consolidation. A nice little loco, but by 1930, of the 8 owned and operated by the C&S, 63-70, 3 had been scrapped ; 63 in 1929, 66 in 1923 & 67 in 1927 and 64 had been sold to Mexico a decade prior. This leaves just 4. Whether any of the newer B4E's which made it into the 1940's make it to the roster or any of the slightly older B4C's remains to be seen.

Love the narrow gauge, so no matter what, this will be a day 1 purchase.

The last two locomotives to operate on the Clear Creek lines were B4Ds Nos. 69 and 70. No. 70 pulled the last regular revenue freight on May 4, 1941. Nos. 69 and 70 both worked the dismantling trains that summer.

This is incredible news! Small, narrow gauge steam is what got me hooked on trains as a kid, and except for a couple routes, mostly British and Welsh and the WIP Durango and Silverton, the genre has been overlooked so far in TS. Well done to Milepost Simulations and DTG, I can't wait to get my hands on this one.

This was posted over on the article page in relation to a question asked about BNSF licencing. What issue could there be with a 80 year old fallen flag steam line? Can anybody hazzard a guess what this means in english? Are those non-US residents going to get unliveried locomotives & rollingstock? Unfortunately I do not Farcebook and the like so I cant ask the question over on the page, but I believe it is an important one for prospective purchasers. I understand the genealocical path, just seems beyond reason

The C&S itself lasted longer than it's narrow gauge divisions. The C&S was a CB&Q subsidiary and any engine assigned to the C&S at one point carried the "Burlington Route" logo along with saying "C&S" some where on the engine. While the CB&Q was apart of the initial BN merger, the C&S would not become fully absorbed by the BN until 1981 which also included the Fort Worth & Denver. And I do believe BN had engines with C&S reporting marks. In any of the BNSF's products featuring it's predecessor roads the round C&S logo is always included. BNSF also has a "heritage covered hopper" that carries the C&S logo as well. So, not really that far of a stretch, in my opinion, even if it is a narrow gauge in the 1930's. Here in Gillette, on the pool the runs from Gillette to Guernsey on the Orin Line, there is still a turn for both conductors and engineer's marked "C&S Allocated Turn-Do Not Cut" which has something to do with the agreements created when the Orin line was constructed in the early 1970's, since Orin Jct. to Wendover, WY is technically on track built by the C&S along with any coal trains that need to use the Front Range Sub which is also ex-C&S.

Don't waste your time being annoyed. Or whatever. If they do that it will be about three point two minutes before signage is out just like The Race Track.

Hadnt really followed developments / issues with the Racetrack - not really my thing - thanks for the reassurance...

Did anyone else notice the "CONOCO" tank car says "COLOCO" in the WIP screenshots? does this have to do with liscencing?
